Wasted Trip

Earlier on after my swimming lesson, I went to my friend's house to do the Geography assignment given by our teacher. However, we did not do a single thing, instead we wasted the whole afternoon DotAing O.o Well the trip was not really wasted as I had learnt a new hero.

I got back home in the evening and practiced for the upcoming SYF. There is not much to say. Good night.

By the way, just to make my post longer - qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm

If it weren't for these days...

I would have been at the edge of death's door. There had been daily practices since Monday - just being kiasu and I'm almost tired and killed out everytime I come home. Luckily, this week is being occupied with E-learning and cross country, therefore I can keep the whole afternoon to myself.

These few days I've been training my DotA heroes and cleaning up my class blog's music request element. I have successfully made an auto updated music request! For now, I am going to finish up doing the steps on how to request music - retrieving the code. At a later date, perhaps tomorrow, I'll start working on my blog skin.

Very soon, I'll have a lot of time after SYF and can start spicing up my website. My CCA sux, thnks fr th mmrs!

It has been quite sometime

It has been about 4 days gap of not posting, 10 days gap of not posting long enough. It is always the same words - I'm tired, I need to sleep, etc... Well, I think I should get back on blogging. I hope more people will visit my blog more often because I want to have a higher traffic. I have just found out that my blog has been indexed and crawled by google search engine.

I am really busy these few days as there is CCA everyday, except Saturdays. However, all this is going to end on 12 April which is my competition day. Therefore, my plans to create a new blog skin may have to be pulled longer instead of postponing. I will now briefly tell you about what had happened in school the past few days.

Our geography teacher has been switched to a way better one, although some of the lessons are boring, but I think she has the ability to get the students focused and she's good! Until today, I still do not like maths lesson.

Okay, so lets go on...

These few days, especially the afternoon will be jammed pack with CCA and it will end around 6 or so. I most likely will not be able to concentrate on my homework as I am too tired. I think I should learn how to take advantages of the weekends to do revision. Another alternative plan will be revising and ending all homework on Friday and play DotA throughout Saturday, as well as practicing for my CCA instead of hanging out with my friends on Saturdays. On Sundays, I may do a bit of web development here and there.

Earlier today in the afternoon, I went to my friend's house. He intended to change his blog skin and it looks cool now. Another friend played a match of DotA, although he was a beginner but it went well for him.

I have already roughly thought of the design that I want my new blog skin to be. I hope you can see it soon. That's all for now. Say... days ago, I think I... nevermind...

1st day come, 1st day go

We were being repositioned in class and I was being put at the front - 1st row. I do not like sitting in the first row because I do not like to be too in front. I am quite tired now after coming back late from my CCA and quite moody to do anything. I mean, does sitting in the first row bring you 5 As? It's no reason!!!

Many Days, less hours

The holidays were a total of 4 totally free days, counting the week ends but I did not do my homework. Perhaps it was because of my CCA which probably took away my mood of doing. I'm so corrupted during the holiday, I lost my homework, I forgot the last term work, I'm so tired out. I feel like dying although I should not. I believe I can pull myself the pieces of myself together in the next few days and most likely joint together after the SYF. I'm looking forward to having no CCA after the competition. It is so disturbing now that I've lost all, well maybe most of my homework. So I better be serious, my result of my life is in fate's hands.

Camp's 6 hours away

K don't really have much to say about today's officer meeting but, I'll be away tomorrow for my camp so see ya till then.

Camp's almost here

Tonight is the last night I'll be sleeping at home for this week. My camp starts this Firday and ends this Saturday. I hope it will not be boring.

Practice was over and I hanged around in the internet, did not really know what to do. Finally an idea of making a widget blogger template struck my mind so I went digging up tutorials on it. I have learnt quite a number of elements in blogger's XML so I am sure that I will be able to complete my code tomorrow.

Just a few minutes ago, I heard this remix on the radio and it was nice!

LANed again

It was quite a long day today. In the morning I wanted to get my hair cut but that shop wasn't opened. I had to go to a barber shop Teck Ghee that I always go for a cut. I do not really like the barbers there though. It was already 10 P.M. when my hair was cut and I had to run all the way to the LAN shop.

An unexpected friend came and 4 of them start playing without me. However, it's okay we restarted the whole thing and played for 3 hours.

My stomach was rumbling and there weren't any food that suits my appetite. I suggested them to go to A star hoping that I could eat my hor fun. To my disappointment, both stalls - hor fun and chicken rice stalls were closed. Well there was at least a mixed vegetables stall.

After lunch, we went to one of my friend's house and watched my friend playing DotA over B-Net.

At the end of the day, my friend's mother fetched us home and I reached home around 8 P.M. in the evening.

Earlier next time

I fell asleep again and did not post yesterday... No, really! Yesterday we had a 3 hour practice and it was good. 1 hour less means a lot to me. Later I'll be going LAN and my friend's house so catch you later. Need some rolls?

Long day

And we meet again. Well, I went for my swimming class in the afternoon and it was already evening when I got back. I am feeling quite tired now, don't really know what to post but I am sure I have quite a number of things to post tomorrow. Oh ya, earlier on my brother went to help me photocopy my result slip and he left the slip on the scanner, basket - case.

Do I know you?

I'm so sorry that I did not post yesterday as I fell asleep unintentionally. I am posting about the music exchange that our school had with 2 other schools yesterday. It was quite an eye opener to hear them play as I felt that they were very good. However, we did not really make use of the interaction time as we do not know each other. Anyway, if there will to be another music exchange, I hope that we will not be the host. See you later, it's hard to say what's going to happen.

p/s There's really nothing to watch...

The sporty day

Many students came in their house tee to support their house for sports day. I was pretty blur about what was going on and did really pay little attention. Congrats to those who took part and won. My friends and I went to a LAN shop to have a DotA match, it was a disappointment as the shop keeper did not allow us in and same for the other shop who expected all our EZ-Link cards.

A few of my friends left and a few of us hanged around in Ang Mo Kio and chatted at the nearby fast-food restaurant for some time. We split up and went home.

Tomorrow there will be a music exchange session with 2 other schools. I heard that the players there are very good. It's going to be a very tiring day from 8am to 5pm. I wonder how's it gonna be.

It is out today

Assembly just started with 'Lips of An Angel' as usual and hey... it is time to change man. If the song is nice, I'll go down early. It is not that I do not like Lips of An Angel but, it is quite old to me. There was a surprise Maths re-test on the other half of the Maths lesson. I was quite happy for a while as I knew Chapter 7 very well but to my disappointment, it was a re-test. I would really like to thank my future Maths teacher for pointing out a careless mistake in one of my questions. I hope I do not fail this time round.

I was a little disappointed when I got back my progress report as I was expecting a higher mark on certain subjects. True enough, my English fell like a rock rolling down. Thank goodness it is just a progress report, I have a few more months to pull it up.

I had a game of DotA tagged with my friend and a normal AI. I seriously do not know what is the problem but every time I die, I get disconnected. Anyway, tomorrow is sports day so those classmates of mine taking part in anything, all the best to you and please bring home atrophy.

Not looking too bright

I think I had done pretty badly for the Geography and Chinese test. Ever since I wanted to pull up my Maths and Science, my favorite subject, English, went way down and I really mean way down. Have you been noticing that lately, I have been talking about school 90% of the time. It makes my post very boring. I will move on to another topic.

I have made a script which will display all non-private music requests that are made by my classmates. The script you see beside you is just a part of it, it is pretty much similar to a tag board and it is fairly easy to create.

As the old saying goes red & blue, green & yellow, how about blue & yellow?

Killing Two Tests with One Brain

The assembly for today was staring Deyi-Iodl semi-finalists. Frankly, I did not enjoy it very much. I went to downgrade my pilot pen to G1 from G2 as I find it a waste of money if I keep loosing G2. I went to Sembawang Bookshop to check if the price was lower than Populars but I've made a wasted trip. In the end, I bought from Popular.

I had a little game of DotA when I came home with one of my friends. He pwned pretty badly. Still, I had fun.

There are 2 tests coming up tomorrow and I do not know if I'll do well for it, but I'll do if I have studied From Yesterday.

It always has been like this

Class was as usual - noisy during the Science practical lesson. Well, I did not really heard her instructions neither did I understood it so I just let time flew by. It was very soon that reached the end of school hours and our donations are being collected. I did not give much but... at least I did. We kind of took our time when the bell rang and our house meeting was supposed to commence. My DM which was from the neighbor class was held back by his teacher. It's kind of funny thinking about it now.

The CCA hours were long and tiring, SYF are nearing and I finally knew how much effort and time the officers required to 'complete the structure' of the camp.

When I returned home, I tried my best to help my friend about Maths comprehension. Talking about Maths, I'll be seeing her tomorrow again!!! I hope I'll be listening...

Growing up very fast

I just had Maths tuition from my brother and he was so pro. He taught me the steps and I was able to pick up the pieces I could not before. I has been a long day and I have yet to complete the new Maths chapter's homework. I am and will be working on cleaning up my site scripts and codes. So before I go, remember to smile in your sleep and I will be increasing the characters in my post.

I'm missing it

I'm sorry for not posting for the past 3 days, its either I've been carried away or fell a sleep accidentally. It was not intentional and I would not like to talk about the last three days since it felt long ago to me. I have been pulling the date on Science, so lets just forget it and move on, shall we?

I gave my friend a DotA introduction at the LAN shop today. I hope he enjoys the game but does not get hooked onto it.

It all ends tonight!

Come Again

I went back to the first step. Did I ever think before I write? Earlier on during Maths lesson, my maths teacher call those noob in maths like me to continue the factorised question. Guess what? I wrote the first step of the factorisation. I could not bother to think, very pressurizing! We also met our new teacher who is going to take over in term 2, I hope she's better.

It always the same during Science practical, my teacher will keep on screaming because the class would not keep quiet, but guess what? I don't care.

It is getting quite late now, I'll try my best to stop delaying and post my Science tomorrow after I come back from my CCA.

I've got you by McFly, pay most attention to the drums and I'll catch you tomorrow.

Interest is growing... fast!

This morning was a sleepy. 'It Ends Tonight' was being played when I was walking my way into school. It started off really good at the first with Science lesson. My teacher got us to hand in our Science worksheets. I'm so happy. When she penned down those who did not hand in, my name was finally not there. In another words I did do and handed in! =D She also talked about Potassium that helps to keep your heart beating. Such products are 100PLUS. Interesting eh? My interest sure is growing more in Science. Geography was very same as all the past few lessons, 1 word - boring! Let's skip the day's event, shall we?

When my CCA ended, my DM told me that I was made an officer for the upcoming holiday camp. I hope that it better be a good post! Though, he did not tell me what post I was in.

I posted the first post on the class blog today. So, while I am waiting for my brother to give me a recap on Maths, here the continuation of what I've learnt from eldest brother on Saturday.

I'll be talking more about molecules... He's ready, I'll carry on posting later on...

DOTS! Most of the up to date methods he does not know. How? I'm so going to crumble under pressure then my teacher will start scolding. I want to die!!! Science, tomorrow again XD

Shootz, not again...

See, I'm doing my literature as I speak. When I came home in the noon, I immediately hooked up with Battlefield even though I know I have a whole lot of homework left undone. Finally I was able to stop myself after being done with a site management script login page at around 6pm. I took my dinner and was ready to do my homework. However, I need to call my section member so I turned on my computer again to check their number. Somehow, one of my friend started a conversation with me. Then, we did our D&T over MSN, although we did not complete it. Later at around 9, another friend came online and joined us. Then we chat till almost 10. I was not slacking. I somehow had forgotten most parts of Sing To The Dawn and had to re-read 2 chapters. Thank goodness I started early because I still have D&T. Catch you tomorrow, I'll talk more about the Science tuition my brother gave me yesterday. No exceptions - likewise, you'll get a youtube video.

Dead tired >_<

My friends and I went to McDonald's after swimming lesson. I had my Grilled Chicken Foldover (it sort of grew smaller) EVM. So we decided to kill time and go to the Ang Mo Kio Library. There were quite a lot of people and we met our Secondary 1 art teacher. We just hanged around for awhile and went to Courts.

My eyes were fixed on a white (it would be better if it was black) Sony Ericsson handphone 'cause it looks so cool! However, the price was killing - $600+!!! We walked around looking at TVs and left for my friend's house after quite some time. A few matches of basketball, game boy and back to home.

After that, my brother gave me Science tuition on Atoms, Molecules and Ions. Just in case you did not pay attention and I may forget about it, here's what it is all about.

An atom is the smallest particle of an element.
The Periodic Table of Elements key is just on the left.
The atomic number, number of protons = electrons,
the symbol and the atomic mass, take atomic mass minus (-) atomic number to find the amount of neutrons an atom has.

An atom is made up of the nucleus (protons - positive electric charge, neutrons, no charge) and electrons(negative electric charge) which are orbiting around the nucleus. These electrons are orbiting on shells and you can tell how many shells an atom has through the Periodic Table. Atoms of elements which are on the first period (row) of the Periodic Table has 1 shell, the second period - 2, third - 3 and so on... The atoms in the outermost shell of an atom are called valency electrons. In order for an atom to be stable, the outermost shell must be full or must have the maximum amount of electrons it can have. The atom you see above is probably Carbon, group 4 (IV). 6 protons, electrons and neutrons.

It sure is getting quite late, lets move on to ions. Ions are atoms which are no longer electronically neutral and a charged particle. An atom becomes an ion when it takes in or gives out electrons to achieve electronic stability. The electrical configuration tells us how many electrons there are in each shell, the first number before the dot is shell one, and so on. The last outermost shell number should correspond to the group number in the table. For example, Na - Sodium is found in group 1, period 1, Na's electrical configuration will be 2.8.1 and it gives away 1 electron for it to be stable. Formula if ion will be Na+.

My post is growing rapidly, I'll continue tomorrow and this lame stuff is for you.

At last...

It's one for didn't come and another who also did not come! My maths and art teachers were both absent from lesson, should I be happy? Why? I should because the whole class was! Finally, I paid attention to every single poop of info that came out from her mouth and I understood more about hydroponics. My brother will be giving me Science tuition, and I have confidence that by next week, my academic will be walking the right path. Provided that - I am very sure that you know what I am talking about.

I spent my most of my time today on Battlefield because it is just so fun and cool. I would really suggest you to have a copy of it. At last, I patched my Warcraft to V 1.21 and I was able to play DotA with my friend on LAN over internet. Oh gosh, I am so sorry, I forgot to take screenshots again! Apologies, however, I do have something to entertain yourself.

Enjoy...

Am I right or wrong?

As you know, I'm very bad at maths. My mathematics teacher is somewhat, not detail - I find. I do not know why I'm always so hesitant to give an answer. may be... it's the pressure. As usual, I heck care my Science, leaving a worksheet blank like toilet paper and she commented, "You're all getting from bad to worse." Obviously, she directing it to me XD Anyway, I think it is still early to pull things into your hand and not let it fall off from the mountain that I've been climbing for 9 over years! since K1 So, I've just finished quite a number of pages from the geography workbook, revise and be sure about the workings for maths as well as... Nevermind about science, I hope that my brother will be free over the week end so that he can give me tuition on Chemistry starting from... What is an atom - though, I already know that. Enough about school...

I just tried a few single-player battlefield rounds (conquest) and it was fun - there is action filled and so much excitement, way better than any other First Person Shooter games. I would like to apologize - I did not shoot the screen... Screen shot lah! However, I do have a very entertaining video on youtube that I would like to show you.

Fight for future!

Go and iron it - What's her problem? I like crushing up my worksheets, you know. If you don't like like, tell me beforehand! Anyway, the geography lesson was just as boring as the previous teacher. I wonder, why does my school has geography teachers who do not have any linking with students. I am seriously having some doubts about passing this year. Let's move on to the topic I really want to talk about.

High hopes were pinned on me when I was walking home from school. I just can't wait to lay my hands on Battlefield 2142 which I've troubled my brother to purchase it for me. So I went into the house, rushed into the room, hoping to see my box there but it turned out that his atm card did not work and neither could he withdraw any money from the atm machine located at Sim Lim Square. Okay, that was not really bad but, the shopkeeper wanted to sell him for $50! Which means I will save $4.90! Too bad.

Anyway, I took a quick shower and my brother and I went to the nearby Cyberactive to purchase my long waited Battlefield game for $54.90. I rushed home after buying some breads and buns from Q-bread - I'm ready to rock on! Plus, I found the old speakers from my sibling's old computer and plugged it into my laptop to enhance my gaming experience. XD

Holidays are almost over

The Chinese New Year holidays are almost close to an end. I was busy with my website the past few days and I have finally completed it just yesterday. In order to finish my website in time, I had to drag my sleep time till 3 in the morning and burn midnight oil. I still can remember how freakin crowed the bus was on the first day of Lunar New Year and kiasu Singaporeans just wanna get on it. I don't know why!

If you had read today's digital life, I would like to share with you my thoughts. The top 10 tech abuses at work is so hilarious. Especially - Dear Diary, Today I was _ FIRED. Have you ever wondered... The top 10 tech abuses at school? Haha... And also over at the Views plus Reviews, 4 free softwares are introduced. You can maximize the purpose of your computer!

I was just surfing through metacafe.com and I hopped onto a site kentchemistry.com after watching a video. I stumbled on an interesting video...

It is talking about how people build the Stonehenge in the past without using construction vehicles or machines.

Anyway, that's for entertainment purpose. I am still working on the tag board, inserting database rows, fetching arrays and much more. I don't know when I will finish my tag board as there will be school and CCA tomorrow! Talking about school, I have yet to complete my maths homework. I really hope there will be time for me to play my DotA and Battlefield tomorrow because my brother will be helping me to purchase Battlefield 2142 while I am in school so that I can start playing when I get home. I'll give you the details tomorrow so see ya!
